Serie A side Napoli have expressed their interest in signing Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay as they rival Fulham for his signature.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Fulham have had multiple bids for the Scottish international rejected and could now miss out to Italian side Napoli. According to , head coach Antonio Conte is said to be keen on bringing the midfielder to the Serie A after McTominay was given the green light to leave United this summer. A further report from suggest Napoli would prefer to loan McTominay as they are not willing to pay Man Utd's £25 million ($32m) asking price.

McTominay is attracting a lot of interest from both Premier League and European clubs with the new season about to get underway. Tottenham are also reportedly interested in the 27-year-old, who is now in the final year of his contract.
